Northern State University offers group visits for groups of 5 students or more associated with a school or organization.
Please be sure to complete this Group Visit Request Form
at least two weeks prior
to your requested visit date. After you submit the Group Visit Request Form, the Office of Admission will contact you to discuss the details of your request. Questions regarding the possibilities during your visit can be directed to our Campus Visit Coordinator at

Customize Your Group Visit
Your Campus Visit will include:
Campus Tour
(1 hour) - Explore campus, including academic buildings, Great Plains East Residence Hall, student support offerings, the performing arts center and athletic facilities. This will be a walking tour, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes, and please let us know of any accommodations you may need!

Admissions - Admissions Counselor(s) will cover acceptance requirements, the application process, housing and meal plan options, and answer any other questions about life at Northern.
Professor - Visit with a faculty member to ask questions about degrees, research and why they love Northern. Select this option if you have a single professor or academic area of interest for the group.
Faculty Panel - If your students are all interested in different academic areas of interest, we can put together a Faculty Panel and have one professor from each school represented, so each student can ask questions about their interests in different programs. (ex. College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Fine Arts, School of Business + Career Services (as a recourse for any undecided students))
Financial Aid - Review information about scholarships, completing the FAFSA, and cost of attendance.
TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) - Information about first generation, income qualifications and/or documented disabilities.
Career Services - Review NSU majors and career paths, internships. and how graduates use their degrees.
Honors Program - For students with an ACT score of 28 or higher, or an ACT score of 24-27 with a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
Native American Circle Program - A place to build a sense of community for our American Indian/Alaska Native students.
Accessibility Services - NSU is committed to providing equal access to all university programs, for all students.
